Alpha Wings with Flying Fish Beer Sauce

BBQ Bob combines the smooth and tasty brown ale of Flying Fish Exit 10 Trail Mix beer to his classic wing sauce to try just in time for the game.

Ingredients

Wings

Wing sauce

  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 3/4 cup BBQ Bob's Hav'n A BBQ Sauce
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup beer sauce
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 Serrano pepper sliced

Beer sauce

  • bottles Flying Fish Exit 10 Brown Ale
  • cup brown sugar
  • stick butter

Reduce and thicken to half volume

Garnish

  • Crumbled blue cheese
  • Chopped scallions 

Instructions

  • Cut wings into sections 
  • Coat with olive oil
  • Rub with BBQ Bob's Alpha Rub
  • Grill over direct heat at 300 F for approx 30 minutes or until internal temp is 190
  • Toss wings in sauce and garnish with crumbled blue cheese and scallions
