Grilled Tuna Steak with Soy Honey Glaze and Wasabi Cream
This seared Tuna Steak recipe is sure to be a hit! The blend of the sweet Honey Glaze combined with the heat from the Wasabi Cream sauce is a perfect recipe for the grill!
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
- 3 Tuna steaks
- Olive oil
- 3 oz BBQ Bob’s 7Bones Beef Rub
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- 1 clove fresh garlic minced
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp hot chili oil
- 4 oz sour cream
- 2 tsp wasabi
Instructions
- Get your grill nice and hot. 500°F direct set up
- Lightly coat tuna steaks with olive oil then dust with BBQ Bob’s 7Bones Beef Rub
- In a small bowl, whisk the soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, sesame oil and hot chili oil to blend
- Slowly add honey and continue whisking
- In a second bowl, blend sour cream and wasabi with a spoon
- Grill the tuna on both sides for 1 -1½ minutes to get nice grill marks. The center should be rare or cook to your liking
- Brush the steaks with the soy glaze and let rest for 5 minutes
- Serve with soy glaze and wasabi cream on the side
